Three Joes Sourdough Pizza - Winchester

After sitting down and alerting the staff to my allergies the manager came over and very rudely told me that it was not at all possible for me to eat there and I should leave. He didn’t tell me as most places do that while my food is allergen free (I had checked) that the kitchen is not. He spoke to me in a way that I would never speak to another person- if my allergies pose a genuine risk I would rather be told that but in a way that’s polite and considerate. I am a young girl and wanted a lunch out with my friends and had my day ruined by the manager who nearly made me cry. There is a way to deal with allergies and that was not it. I have visited the restaurant before and my allergies didn’t pose a problem. It’s not okay to speak to younger people in a rude way and make them feel as if they’re an inconvenience when a restaurant should be able to cater to food-related issues in a calm and respectful way.
