Every item has a tag which states whether it is free from nuts. There’s also a sign up saying they are careful to sanitise preparation areas between products and are careful about how they handle foods.

Amazing and affordable bakery with all items gluten free! Plenty of sweet and savoury options. Bakery also lists allergens visibly and also have vegan options. Staff very knowledgable about coeliac and filled me with confidence when visiting. Visit this place a lot now and a must go for gluten free in Edinburgh.

We stop by here for cakes fairly regularly (despite living on the other side of Edinburgh!)!! The products, staff and attitude of this bakery is just fantastic. They are so switched on about allergies and there really is something for everyone. I suffer with a tree nut and peanut allergy and they never fail to make me feel at ease. It’s such a refreshing treat to be able to visit a bakery and have total comfort that your allergy has been considered and that’s without compromising on taste and selection. Highly recommend. We’ll be back again and again, we’ve also started ordering bespoke cakes for family events from here. 10/10 always for this place

I’d like to say we went to Edinburgh on holiday for a number of reasons but truthfully I really wanted to visit this bakery! The reviews are always glowing and now I know why! The labelling of the products is so clear with a tick box system to show which allergens each item is free from. The staff assured me that everything was nut free so all I had to do was check the products to see which said they were vegan and there were so many options! I bought more cakes than one person should buy but being able to try almost anything was such a novelty! The staff are so lovely and chatted to me about the ingredients and kitchens etc. they even had some vegan sandwiches on offer! A fantastic experience!
