Poppy & Pint - Nottingham

We attended a children's party and despite me speaking to someone prior to this who assured me they would be able to cater for allergies, it was a different story when we got there. The person bringing out the food didn't know about the allergy situation within the food so I asked them to ask someone. They came back and told me everything was suitable - I asked if the cheese sandwiches were safe. She said yes. I went downstairs and the person was incredibly unhelpful. We had to go back for another event but I brought food with me just in case. Again, the staff were really unhelpful and to be honest, quite rude. We appreciate that the allergies that need catering for aren't always an easy combination but we have never experienced this kind reaction to providing help and options for our children.
