Ego Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar, Lichfield

I was so excited to see reviews for this bakery on Allergy Companions and even more thrilled to see they do delivery. I finally got to have a freshly baked croissant and artisan sourdough bread from a bakery - for anyone with nut allergies this is such a treat! I cannot remember the last time I had a freshly made pastry so this has truly made my day/month/year :)

Croissants are incredible!

Where do I start. When it comes to bakeries they are usually a no go for nut allergies. So when I read about this place and knew we were going to be close by I had to check it out. Even though it was an hour from where we were staying we came three times in a week! Nut free and committed to this with staff who have nut allergies but as importantly just delicious. Granola, amazing bread, biscuits, croissants. Made my son so happy to be able to have anything in there. How rare and how amazing. We need to shout about and support places like this.

Amazing bakery. Definitely worth a visit. We were told that they are nut free and that employees are not allowed to eat nuts for breakfast before they come to work.
