Crowne Plaza Nottingham, an IHG Hotel

Despite completing a dietary requirement form over email prior to taking afternoon tea at the Crowne Plaza in Nottingham, we were extremely disappointed and shocked by what we received and how they made us feel. They did replace some of the sandwiches; however, this took over 30 minutes. The original sandwiches were brought back for the rest of the party, but sadly by this time they were stale! We did receive the offer of another afternoon tea as an apology after contacting them by email, which we declined as the experience was not one we wanted to repeat! In the end they offered us a credit for the same amount as the afternoon tea so we returned for a meal, which was much better and they were very attentive. It appears a chef helping out had not seen the dietary form and prepared a 'standard' afternoon tea! Very poor, but at least no harm and they put it right
