Village Hotel - Cardiff

I have nut/peanut allergy and other intolerances, my nephew (2yo) is on allergy ladders and can't have soya, egg, cows milk or nuts. My nephew couldn't have anything from the kids menu and in the end it was decided he'd share steak and chips with mum. I struggled to have many options with my intolerances and had a burger with chips. I couldn't have many starters due to crustacean content. When we ordered staff allowed someone to cut in front of us. When taking our order we had to fill in allergy cards for the chef - which is why it has 2 stars not 1. Afterwards it emerged that 2 drinks and the steak had been left off so nephew and mum ended up with only chips as a meal.
