    We came to the restaurant with multiple allergies, and they were able to handle them all exceptionally well and put us all at ease.

    This place was excellent. Real attention to detail and no problem removing nuts. Menu given to remove nuts so super easy to choose. No fuss just real care and attention. Delicious prawns and mushrooms to start. Tuna tartare, chicken parfait, potatoes and carrots dishes. Lovely glass of local Norfolk Wine to top it off. Will be back.

    Although the venue serves nuts I really appreciated that they noted the nut allergy and provided a menu which was Nut Free. We had some really great dishes - sausage and chips, pasta, focaccia and prawns to start plus burrata with tomato, watermelon with goats cheese, pear and cheese arancini and patatas bravas with hake. Heard someone else asking about the "usual" gluten free also.

  • One of my most relaxing experiences eating out with allergies

    I loved it here. I can’t quite describe it but they just felt in control. They had a good note of our allergies when we arrived. Whilst they do have nuts they don’t cook with these and only garnish food afterwards meaning it is very easy to have the food without nuts. We had pesto pasta for the children and our son was able to have his very first ice cream sundae with home made cookies and salted caramel ice cream. The ice cream was by East Coast Gelato who I have reviewed on Allergy Companions already. We had arancini, watermelon and cheese, chicken liver parfait and sticky pork. They make their own bread (focaccia) and we had two portions. I had a dessert of mango, passion fruit, set custard and coconut ice cream. Just a great experience. Such nice food and lovely setting.
