This place is dog friendly, so another allergy component to consider before a visit.
I checked the menu before going - there is a link to a menu with an allergy menu, and when you go on it a massive screen sized disclaimer pops up. I read it and was a bit put off going. From the tone, I imagined I'd be asked to sign a disclaimer or something.
When we went in, we were asked if we needed a vegan or gluten free menu, I said no but I have allergies and was told to order at the bar rather than the app and re-offered the gluten free menu. The staff member looked a bit confused for a second that I declined the GF menu, but it is not one of my allergies.
I had a decent amount of menu options - not loads but certainly not as restricting as others. Ordering at the bar was easy and reassuring. Food came with a red flag on the plate, clearly to indicate to servers, no issue with that. Food came quickly, well presented, was tasty and without issue. I've come full circle and would go there again, but I would say it's for someone confident with allergies and checking at each point.
Menu Top Tips
- I had the Lounge Burger and removed aspects and added cheddar. Brioche bun so no sesame, and fries. Recommend the homemade raspberry lemonade.
Venue Top Tips
- We went on a Thursday evening and there were only 3/4 other groups so quite quiet and therefore less opportunity for confusion or cross contamination.
Recommended Dish
